Dodie Sable, Sempai has been studying Fukasa-Kai and Tenshinkai Aikido styles as well as Aikijutsu, Kenjutsu, Iaijutsu, (sword techniques) and Kabudo weapons since 2002 at Aikido Masters Self-Defense Academy in Whitehall, PA.

When she was in her 40's, she began seeking a martial art that was more than punching, kicking and katas.  Aikido suited her well as it is more than an art, it is a lifestyle.  In 2006 she became an assistant instructor in her Dojo under David Nemeroff, Soke-Dai.  She works with the children training Aikido on Wednesday afternoons at 4:30 PM and instructs an adult Aikido class on Tuesday mornings, 11:00 AM at Aikido Masters.
